Carnelian

Carnelian is a vibrant, unique variety of orange-red Chalcedony, coloured by natural iron inclusions within its Quartz structure. One of the oldest gemstones used in adornment, Carnelian has been crafted into jewellery since prehistoric times, with beads discovered at ancient archaeological sites dating back to the Neolithic Period.

In Ancient Egypt, she was associated with the Sun God Ra and symbolised vitality, creation, and life-force energy. As well as the properties of fertility, creation, and healing associated with the Goddess Isis.
