Aegirine is a sodium iron silicate mineral that forms in alkaline igneous environments, often within pegmatites. Specimens from Mount Mulanje, Malawi are especially prized for their deep green to near-black colour and sharply defined, bladed crystal growth. Mulanje’s high-altitude pegmatites also host Smoky Quartz, Feldspar and Zircon, creating mineral assemblages known for both strength and rarity.

Aegirine displays classic elongated, blade-like crystals with a dark, lustrous surface and commanding presence. Raw and unapologetic, it carries the unmistakable energy of the mountain; focused, resilient, and powerful.
