SEDNA is a deep navy-coloured satin choker, with fabric reconstructed from a vintage garment. The ammonite is fixed at the centre, with a cluster of hand-embellished reclaimed pearls adorning the satin.

Ammonites are powerful symbols of evolution, cycles, and ancient earth wisdom. The Ammonites in this collection date back to the Cretaceous Period, around 120 million years ago, and were found in the jungles of Mahajanga on the North West Coast of Madagascar. Each ancient fossil reveals its internal chambers in striking detail, natural spirals and crystallised pockets, and some even have inclusions of Pyrite. These Ammonites have been ethically sourced and then halved and polished in The Cotwolds, UK.

SYMBOLISM

From Inuit mythology, Sedna is the goddess of the sea and marine animals, symbolising deep emotional healing, surrender, resilience, and the wisdom found within life's hardships. Sedna was cast into the icy sea by her father, and from her severed fingers the seals, whales, and other sea creatures were born, making her ruler of the ocean depths.

PALMWORKS x HOM+M COLLAB

A Palmworks x Haus of Moss and Moon collaboration. A Venusian ode to the goddess within. Sacred Ammonite adornment that calls upon the tides, woven with oceanic symbolism, feminine mysticism and moonlit earth wisdom.
