Selenite, sourced from the Talsint mines, Morocco, is atransparent to translucent variety of Gypsum, often confused with Satin Spar. Selenite crystallises in a monoclinic crystal system in diamond shaped sheets with a pearly lustre. Selenite is only a 2 on the Mohs scale, which means it is considered a soft crystal. Some of these pieces in the collection also have mesmerising rainbows!

Selenite is a high vibrational crystal that opens the crown, connecting you to the angelic realms and alerting your vibrational frequency to access a pure state of awareness. Contrary to popular belief, Selenite is not self-cleansing, or self-charging, and nor would I personally recommend using it for cleansing or charging other crystals. This is because Selenite carries her own incredibly potent and specific energy, so you would be mixing energies and not cleansing or charging as a 'neutral' energy.
