Dogtooth Calcite is a sharply pointed, tooth-like formation of Calcite, known for its elongated, scalenohedral crystal shape. It forms in open spaces such as caves and geodes, where mineral-rich solutions have room to grow freely. Made of calcium carbonate, it often appears as translucent to transparent, found in tones of white, yellow, brown, and soft grey.
